Babylon Wedding

The Town of Babylon is located in southwestern Suffolk County, New York, USA. As of the 2000 census, the town population was 211,792. The town was named after the ancient city in the Middle East. There is also a Village of Babylon located within in the town. The west town line is the border of Nassau County, New York, and the south town line is the Atlantic Ocean. Part of the Great South Bay and Fire Island are in the southern part of the town.

Steve Bellone is the Babylon town supervisor.

The region was once called Huntington South. The town was formed in 1872 by a partition of the Town of Huntington.
